Symbiosis presents the endemic plants of Albania through a clear visual language that combines photography with elements of contemporary craftsmanship. The project creates a space for reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, approaching endemic flora not only as a subject of scientific documentation but also as a source of aesthetic and cultural inspiration.
Within the exhibition space, visitors encounter a visual atlas composed of a series of photographs of endemic plants, arranged in a structured and minimal composition. Each image documents a specific species, highlighting the form, structure, and unique character of plants that grow only within the territory of Albania or the wider Balkan region.
Alongside the photographic documentation, the exhibition includes a handcrafted textile installation that artistically interprets the shapes and rhythms of the plant world. This element creates a dialogue between scientific observation and artistic interpretation, reflecting the idea of coexistence and interdependence that defines natural ecosystems.
Through the combination of photography, information, and artistic installation, Symbiosis aims to bring attention to the richness of Albania’s flora and the importance of protecting biodiversity. The exhibition invites visitors to look more closely at these rare species and to reflect on the shared balance between nature and human presence.
